The Driving Instructor (TDI) is proud to launch our Easter Hunt 2026 across the Bassetlaw area, giving away £2,700 worth of prizes completely free to the community.

Please read the rules carefully before participating.

Competition Overview

The competition begins 23rd March 2026
Clues and TDI L-Top boxes will be hidden within publicly accessible areas of participating local businesses
The competition closes on Monday 6th April 2026
The live prize draw will take place on Monday 6th April 2026 at 20:00 via live video on our Facebook page

Entry is completely free.

Eligibility Requirements
To enter the competition, participants must:
Hold a valid UK provisional driving licence
Be legally eligible to learn to drive in the UK
Be willing to start driving lessons within the Bassetlaw area
Be following The Driving Instructor’s Facebook page
Be following our other social media platforms (including Instagram)

⚠️ Any entrant who does not meet ALL of the above requirements will automatically be disqualified from the draw.

The organiser reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time.

How to Enter

Participants must locate official TDI Easter Hunt L-Top boxes placed in participating local businesses.

Each box contains instructions and a QR code directing entrants to an online entry form.

Entry Levels:

🥉 To qualify for 3rd Prize
– Find 1 box
– Complete 1 entry form

🥈 To qualify for 2nd Prize
– Find 2 different boxes
– Complete 2 separate entry forms

🥇 To qualify for the Grand Prize
– Find 3 different boxes
– Complete 3 separate entry forms

Each entry form must be completed correctly to be valid.

Duplicate submissions from the same box will not count.

£240 Driving Lesson Voucher (usable with any TDI instructor)

🥇 1st Prize – Grand Prize
FREE driving lessons until you pass*
(*Limited to 60 hours total – worth up to £2,400)

Total prize value: £2,700

Grand Prize Conditions

The winner must start lessons within 3 months of the draw date and have a valid theory pass certificate
Lessons must be taken within the Bassetlaw area
Lessons are subject to instructor availability
The prize covers lesson time only (does not include theory test fees, practical test fees, retests, or third-party costs)
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
“Until you pass” applies up to a maximum of 60 hours of lessons
Failure to actively engage with lessons or repeated cancellations may result in the prize being withdrawn.

Location & Conduct Rules

All boxes are hidden in publicly accessible areas only
No boxes are hidden in restricted, staff-only, unsafe, or private areas
Participants must behave respectfully within businesses
Any inappropriate behaviour, tampering, or removal of materials may result in disqualification
Please support our participating businesses while visiting.

The Live Draw

All valid entries will be entered into their respective prize draws
The draw will be conducted live via Facebook on Monday, 6th April 2026 at 20:00
Winners will be announced publicly
If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, a redraw may take place

Business Participation

All local businesses within the Bassetlaw area are welcome to participate.

To get involved, businesses must:

There is no cost to participate.

General

The Driving Instructor reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if necessary
The organiser’s decision is final
By entering, participants agree to these terms and conditions
Entry constitutes consent for promotional use of winner announcements and related content
